DAY 1 - MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU - OUARZAZATE - VALLE DEL DADES
After breakfast, we will start the desert tour. You will cross the High Atlas mountains through the highest pass in the country Tizi in Tichka (2,260m altitude), you will pass through interesting villages until you reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987), a fortified enclosure within a walled town that you will surely recognize, since this citadel has been the setting for very famous films.
Continuing the route, we will pass through Ouarzazate, we return to the Highway of a Thousand Kasbahs towards Skoura, and from there we will cross the Valley of Roses to finally reach the Valley of Dades . Dinner and accommodation in a hotel located in the Dades Gorges.
DAY 2 - DADES VALLEY - TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA DESERT
The next day, after breakfast, you will continue your route passing through many Berber villages. You will visit the Todra Gorges with the possibility of eating there, to take advantage and see the impressive place with tranquility. Once the visit is over, you will go directly to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you will start the dromedary excursion, stopping to watch the sunset, until you reach the heart of the desert. Upon arrival, an excellent and refreshing tea and an exquisite Berber dinner await you, all enlivened by the music of the tam-tam (drums). You will enjoy a unique and unforgettable night, thanks to the large number of stars that populate the desert nights. You will sleep in berber jaimas.
DAY 3 - THE MERZOUGA DESERT - DARAA VALLEY - OUARZAZATE
They are already in the desert enjoying the magic of the dunes…! Today, it is mandatory to get up early to see the sunrise from the top of the dunes. We will have breakfast and continue our way to Ouarzazate through Rissani, where we will stop to visit its traditional medina, which is considered the largest in southern Morocco. Then we will continue to Alnif, Tazarine and the Draa Valley, with its impressive palm groves. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.
DAY 4 - OUARZAZATE - TELOUAT - ALTO ATLAS - MARRAKECH
After breakfast and before continuing to Marrakech you will visit the famous Kasbah de Taourirt, built in adobe with crenellated towers and which, due to its importance, its architecture and its decoration, is one of the most beautiful in Morocco. You will have the honor of having visited the largest residence of Glaoui, the 'pacha' of Marrakech. After seeing it, we will continue to the city Red Marrakech crossing the High Atlas mountains through the Tizi N'tichka pass. On the slopes of the mountains you will see remote Berber villages and farms that blend into the landscape. We will be back at your hotel in Marrakech around 4:00 PM.
